The thatch roof rotted and collapsed in the outdoor kitchen. So now we have to look for an alternative material to replace the roof. Indoor kitchen and dining is fine since we replaced the thatch with slate tiles. Terrible week.

It's more annoyed than despair. The outdoor kitchens can handle a little rain. However the deluge of wet season is too much for the thatch roof. It rotted and collapsed. If we can't secure clay then maybe shale slabs will do for roofing. Shale is a softer lighter rock. So it's used in roofing for a long time. Technically the material is slate but we call it shale for some reason.

We got a chicken stew going on in the main building of the tavern. Though baking will have to wait until the outdoor kitchen roof is fixed. How are your projects going tonight?

Chicken and rice soup is a thing. First you need a stock base, preferrably made out of the chicken you stewed. Or at least the leftover bones, giblets, and bits along with vegetable stuff like carrot peels, onion skins, celery leaves, etc. Strain the broth in cheese cloth or a mesh strainer. Then put in your chicken and vegetables to simmer. Then skim the scum off the top while it simmers. Then put in your herbs, spices, and parboiled rice during the last half-hour of cooking.

The cyan one would definitely have the middle of it absorbed into the county, same with the pale yellowish and dark red on the left.
And while I would personally smooth out little pps like the pale pink one has on the border with dark blue, if you can explain areas like that in lore it's all good

>Railroad Update
- As the nation of /awat/ continues to thrive, the local train station also seems to become more crowded
- The conductor seems to be some strange green creature. Not like us, normal green creatures.
- Mostly just lays around and doesn't say much, while the jerboas that surround the train station keep it in tip top condition
- Many Watson Industry officials seem to go there every month to check up on the tech they've provided making sure its up to code as the train station must follow regular safety regulations much like more public transportation in /awat/
- At Watson Industry they've started researching the fuel thats being used in the train. A starbert. It looks like a point colored crystal that resembles a star.
- Researchers do not know how it powers the train but they are currently testing it to see how else it could be utilized for the nation of /awat/
- Somehow the joshu's in the R&D division have already gotten their paws on some and have already started stress testing the star. Reports say they blew up the wall again
- When asked more about the Starbert the train conductor yawned and shrugged. This has left nothing for the Watson Industry researches anything to latch on.
- Apparently the starbert is also edible, a very sweet and chewy kind of candy like substance. Watson Industry is planning on seeing if it has any long term effects before deeming it 'Safe'
- Some of the Jerboa's seem to think that is not a good idea as its meant to be fuel but they also don't know where the berts come from or what they really are. They just seem to appear during star falls most of the time.
