Miko got Pekora hired in Hololive, but they had a falling out sometime in 2021.
Pekora in general had almost no friends for the longest, except for Marine. So there's speculation Pekora just wasn't getting along with anyone over there.
It was only in early 2024 that she tried to befriend Aqua, Shion and Ayame and lately has taken Vivi under her wing.
