Not the first time or anything, but will vtubers do a better job than established EN VA’s? I personally do not watch dub, but generally I think that EN vtubers do a much better “anime voice” than the garbage dubs that usually come out for anime.

Honestly I'm surprised getting vtubers to VA in anime (both JP and EN sides) isn't a more common practice, especially for side-characters. I'd think it would be cheaper to work with some indie vtuber who would be super gracious for the opportunity, than to deal with expensive and pain-in-the-ass-to-work-with VA unions.

I feel like a lot of vtubers are going to find out really quick how much the rest of the world actively hates them. Traditional anime fans are fucking rabid, and they hate that vtubershit is encroaching on the scene. Especially when the new age anime fan is worse than your typical weeb from the 2000s-2010s.
