i don't get it, how long does it take and how physically taxing is it to mocap a few dances and sing a few songs? I get they're playing it up to get a break from their fans, but the end result is literally a few simple dances and some singing. idk why they even need to be in japan to do it. also idgaf about the live, i just wanna see my favorites be silly while playing videogames.

It's the retakes anon. Most holos can't dance for shit. They can't remember where to go. They're all early subjects for dementia because they spent years sleep deprived with a take-out fast food diet and no exercise or sunlight.
This on top of having to do voice recording retakes because they also can't sing for shit(well most of them) means they have to spend an exorbitant amount of time grinding hours, or they will end up like Shiori's awful autotune mixing at last fes.
Most holos barely pass for amateurs and they're being given a stage they don't really deserve, but they try their best, and that's all they can do. That is the magic of Hololive. There always needs to be a little bit of sovl which is why my favorites have been choco and noel. Also I love fucking big tits.
