Cheer up. Every time the normie world absorbs a niche hobby, it is ever so slightly pulled towards that direction. And so, even as a hobby becomes normalized, so too does normality shift slightly to accommodate the new arrivals. Japanese believe in "keeping the peace" basically they don't like to involve themselves in other people's business which is good because weird hobbies can flourish but bad because this can create some pretty nasty schizos who act on their schizo rrats.
