I dated a mildly successful indie for a while. Through that I learned every vtuber has a boyfriend and they all talk about it in their vtuber friend discords and make fun of you guys. Sometimes they complain that they didn't get enough donos or their merch didn't sell and have to delay vacations or other plans with their lover as a result. It's kinda funny when you're exposed to this shit firsthand and instantly lose all attraction to the "vtuber" fantasy. By the end it just became an inconvenience, dating a content creator sucks when they can't ever have you over during their "stream time" because they're terrified of the simps hearing you.
