Vshojo always smelled like a corpo that could go tits up at any minute, but they weren't constantly pulling their talents' leashes with regards to the content that they were making (at least visibly) so my opinion of them was still mostly favorable up until this week, even after Matara was fired. She was clearly under a lot of stress at the time, but getting fired rattles everyone who isn't a trust-fund baby, so I just chalked it up to business decisions on both sides and kept happily watching my beloved Roach Auntie.
I definitely did not see Vshojo melting down to this degree. I wasn't shocked by it, because lol capitalism, but I did not expect them to just straight up cheat a charity for chronic disease out of half a million dollars.
