In the same way people reason how Twitch and Kick should theoretically be operating at a loss, yet they obviously aren't so you just have to assume their daddy corps have another way of milking revenue (such as Kick basically just acting as a glorified ad for their crypto-gambling site).

When a company seems to be doing just fine for years and years, "oh yeah actually NOBODY is getting paid, and they really are just burning up all money, and no they don't have an exit plan, and no they won't shut it down BEFORE going completely bankrupt" is really not the most simple explanation. I dont think its that hard to explain, they paid san fran wages to their staff, had offices, spent money on stuff like concerts, art etc. probably also paid for the occasional flight.
Probably had to pay rising interest on the loans (in 2020/1 etc. money was incredibly cheap. Its not anymore) and were never profitable in the first place. If you then assume they also needed to pay back some/all of the initial investormoney its pr obvious why they failed. 11 million loss over like 5 years is only like 160-170k per month. thats not a lot for a company like this and I dont understand why so many people pretend otherwise.

Most of management including Yagoo wants HoloPro unity. They aren't willing to risk merch sales with mixed gens but they constantly encourage unity between Hololive and Holostars.
