The thing that I don’t like is how cruel they are behind the scenes. They mock their viewers, they intentionally lovebomb and manipulate lonely people for financial gain, they shittalk their 'friends', and they foster incel culture on purpose to benefit from it.

They are worse than normal fleshstreamers. They do it on purpose to make people feel emotional pain. They’re sadists. I wanted to make friends and talk about streaming but I’ve only become more cynical the more awful things I see.

Then you see them in public pretending to be single and cute for money and fame. But they’re all ugly monsters behind the anime mask.

Idk if this thread of spam posts about regrets and doom suffering is a genuine expression (especially after the Nimi case) or just a troll, but if it's true, I can understand it because I've been through a phase of disappointment with the oshi and vtuber world. It happened to me, and perhaps those who were hurt like you now at that time weren’t aware of it and even mocked my views just because they believed their oshis would be fine.
