There is well documented plummeting of several vtubers numbers dropping as soon as they reveal they have a partner. Hell it even happens to fucking male normalfag flesh streamers, but to a much lesser degree obviously. The majority of stream watchers are there for the parasocial friend/girlfriend simulator, and when you get in to a relationship you become A LOT less relatable/attractive to that audience. Will she fall off as hard as Nyanners/Vei? Probably not, Nimi has quite a large normalfag reach, and she talked for less than 10 seconds about her fucking massive "little lore drop" on that first stream back, because even she knows she can maybe keep some of that relatability if she sweeps it under the rug.
