Bullshit narrative because Vshojo never had the pretense of hiring through auditions until they actually did, it was more like yet another "shit maybe we should start acting more like hololive" attempt by them. So it makes no sense for her to demand auditions if she was recruited prior. It also makes no sense for them to put in so much effort into the auditions which apparently went until stage 3 of recruitment if they had always planned her.

What likely actually happened was that their finalists were all shitters not popular enough for their greedy standards, so they just decided to go for the nepohire from Zentranny/Geega's clique.
