Fuck that! it’s kinda like when a friend keeps telling you to watch an anime they really love, but the more they talk it up, the less you feel like checking it out. If you've watched any EN corpo Phase is just more of that but they're now the biggest one (Holo/Niji are both JP corpos even in the EN branches, don't pretend they're not). The only corpo with an English speaking presence that is better from a talent perspective is Holo and that's solely because the size difference between Holo and everyone else overrides any other consideration. Then you get additional group merch runs for any events they take part in like Phase Summer, Phase Wars, Phase Showdown or the new idol project stuff they started doing and the extra individual merch runs for subscriber milestone celebrations, new outfit merch & album releases
Also Phase does all kinds of merch, yes the bulk of it is the easy stuff like t-shirts, acrylics, stickers, coffee mugs, pins, daki covers & plushies but they've also done the less common things like hoodies, shot glasses, whiskey glasses, camping mugs, hats, physical CDs, drink bottles, phone cases & keycaps then there's the things practically no indie is doing like bags, playing cards, lighters, scented candles, stationary, scarves, pyjamas, eye masks, cushions, blankets, hourglasses, tins, books & stationary.
