The goal, as I understand it, is to have Hololive vtubers cultivate an audience tied to specific genres or games like any other steamer on Twitch and to let that lead to sponsorships and collabs in the future.

It's going to be a gigantic elephant in the room, especially if Doki starts regularly hosting things. Since they'll be effectively starting from 0 on a new platform, any time a girl goes live in marvel rivals/apex/cs/etc and has a slot on the team, you'll get tourists asking if she plays with doki or dooby. Unless both of their names get filtered, in which case people will ask why.

They cannot compete with VSPO and should not even consider directly competing in that scene. Those FPS communities embrace Hololive because the girls who interact with them push themselves out of pre established comfort zones like Aki, Matsuri, Towa, Laplus, Ayame and they have massive respect for content + skill like Aqua & Botan
