>>103172959There was no benefit in Talents helping the company steal from themselves. Remember none of them have been paid for any of the sale of goods either. All of Henya's merch up to the Bunny stuff has shipped. I've gotten everything I ever ordered from Vshojo until now, it was just slow as shit. Up until Mouses video there was nothing that pointed to current merch orders not being completed, there was no way talent could have known this last round of merch wasn't going to be fulfilled for fans.
>muh transparencyTransparency? The talents were scammed too, the transparency was them all dropping Vshojo in the same day and explicitly making statements about it. For a while each one just thought VShojo was kicking the can or missed a payment and "sorry we'll get it soon" Or from what previous talent is saying guilting them into "taking one for the team." They also make enough from subs/bits/etc that was outside of Vshojo's control that it didn't effect their day to day so they just let it ride. Transparency *now* depends on what their lawyers tell them they can say as I imagine each of them is try to buttfuck anything that's left of the company.
>Why now?Because it became clear shit wasn't going to be delivered anymore when Mouse blew up the fact VShojo was insolvent (Charity, etc). It's like how when someone gets fingered as a sexual predator a bunch of people always come out at once, "Oh shit they did this to me too, I thought I was the only one." Work culture and NDAs browbeat people into not talking about that stuff too, hell I had a kid a work once finally break down and ask why he hadn't gotten his last three paychecks, there was some error with the automated payroll, and he didn't say anything for over a month because of the stigma around talking about it. I had to talk to payroll for him because they were so off put by it. He was the only one effected and let it run that long to not make trouble.
I bought merch, I was affected, I got my chargeback approved in less than two hours after contacting my bank though their online automated dispute center. People's hot take that the talents where in on scamming themselves is fucking wild man. If they were in on it, and telling people to do chargebacks, they're looking at fraud charges themselves. The only one I'm curious about actually knowing anything at this point is Mel.
