Is it wrong for me to actually getting bothered by the fact, when I hear a vtuber is married or in a relationship ? I immediately lose interest in supporting them and unfollow.

As example; I like to go on Twitch and watch 1~2 views cause they're likely chatty with whoever joins, but then they start to talk about their SO without any type of context. I'm not even flirty with them. I'm just supporting them with the game they play or say like maybe once that I like their model, but other than that, I don't say anything to them that should trigger a defense respone (like aggressivelybeing flirty or making compliments in that direction). Is this like a filter response from them ? Like "oh a guy is nice to me, let me tell him I have a Husband/Boyfriend" like I don't get it.
It's been the 4th time in the last couple of days when chuubas dropped that on me, and I unironicly start to get bothered by it.

Where are the chuubas that just want to have some fun for some hours and don't have to tell me that they're happy in a relationship.

No, it's completely normal and books have been written about it. Only the deviants that come here and kiberal white women think otherwise.

You're mind is helping you focus on what it needs. It's telling you she's bad meat.

I mean true, but hololive chuubas only either respond to chatter with their gold badges or you gonna have to hit lottery that they respond to your message. Twitch chuubas with low views like to atleast have a conversation with you, but apparently they all think its more necessary to share their relationship status and stories with their SOs on random chatter that come by.

Brother, if I would be a predator, do you think it would bother me when they tell me they're in a relationship? I come into streams when the game interest me they play and I can chat with them. I love the medium vtubing etc, but I don't necessarily enjoy and get any type of entertainment out of it, when they share their relationship status. Like cool, you get dick, but why telling me this ? I'm not your gay best friend. I don't want to know these things. Also anon, if you think the only reason for a guy getting dejected by a woman telling him they're in a relationship is because he wants something from her and is a predator, it tells more about you and stop projecting on others.
Anonymous No.104547602 [Report] >>104548375
Vtubing is no longer about kayfabe, idol culture, or even anime girls. The hobby wasn't protected from outsiders and now most of the space is full of normies. Normies have no idea why vtubing became popular and they frankly don't care. They think it's a way to get rich quick or want to partake in the new fad like the mindless drones they are.

You're not wrong, but you're also trying to enjoy a world that no longer exists.

I don't really believe in responding only to gold badges theory, I remember watching Nerissa stream once and I'm not a member but she responded to what I said on chat 3 times if I recall correctly, you just need to get lucky enough so they actually pay attention to the chat and you wrote something on the chat at the right time, also in Hololive it's more difficult to hit it because the numbers are much bigger and chat goes fast as fuck, when you watch a VTuber with lower numbers, then the interaction will be easier because the chat doesn't go as fast.

As others have said, it's genuinely a skill issue if you can't ever get them to respond to your messages. Mori responds to me all the time (and I mean a lot)...and I'm a grey. Kronii's responded to me as a grey, but she's pretty parasocial with her long-time members so it's less likely she responds to anyone but them. I hardly watch IRyS and Bae, so I have no takeaway for them.

Either way, I have a strategy that I developed myself, but I'd rather not say what it is because it actually works lol. It might sound like I'm bullshitting, but it works so well that I even had Saba respond to me in a tsunami of chat messages, and it was literally my second time talking in one of her streams. Any EN member I frequent responds to my messages minimum 1-2 times per stream, sometimes I've had as many as 7. Just analyze each streamer bro and you'll figure something out. Trust me

You "approached" a woman on the internet and said you like how she looks. Real women respond the same if they're not sure about the intentions of a man and already in a relationship. Were you filtered? Seems like it's working.

>Is it wrong for me to actually getting bothered by the fact, when I hear a vtuber is married or in a relationship ?

Fucking tired of hearing that. When I was watching Shiori I GENUINELY could not get the bitch to respond to me 98% of the time no matter how on topic my comments were, no matter how often I superchatted her, no matter how many times I humored some of her weird ass ideas like making novelites wear period simulation machines or watch live action yaoi, it almost always was the usual names she waited to respond to. Similar shit with Biboo, Henya, even fucking Ollie and goddamn Kronii is equally as bad as Shiori. I'm not expecting special attention but fuck it's like I'm not there when a grey can get a response just for saying "you're cute". The extremely rare, small amount of flirting/complementing I've sent towards the girls pales in comparison to the blatant lust I've seen some of them respond to from their very creepy oilers. It doesn't matter what I do, I'm just part of the mass of numbers.

It is a bit of a catch 22. The whole industry is built on pretending that we are all mature adults that watch this for entertainment. And we can act mature by separating the actor from the character. But behind the scenes and when the whole industry was being built the focus was always on forever alones that have disposable income and are mentally unhealthy enough to catch feelings for the character and/or actress behind the character. Nobody wants to say it out loud that it is mentally ill people propping up the whole industry. On the other hand it is obvious that if everyone was healthy the money they would be getting out of this wouldn't justify the investment from the actress / corpo. It is all exploitation of mentally ill people.

It happens IRL too. I have had friends both male and female as soon they get a partner they drop all their friends and basically only do stuff with them.
I was watching a 3view in Twitch, she goes afk and suddenly a guy starts talking with her model.
That's why hags Vtubers are the best. They understand the task and the culture and do their job.

It's not as complex as that guy makes it to be, just be funny dude. Different gals have different sense of humor, and just appeal to that. As for me it's Mori and Reine, and maybe just because I was raised by the early internet, just like them.

Idk what to tell you anon. Your messages just suck? I had Biboo respond to my message 3 times in a row on one of her last streams. I got raided into an Ollie stream once and one of the first things I said got a response from her and it ended up in a clip because it was funny. She then played off of it, etc.

Just say more interesting shit. Being "part of the mass of numbers" is why they're not reading your message or reacting to it. It's weird Shiori isn't reading your supas, because the one and only time I sent her one, she replied to it. Kronii I can agree with that she doesn't really respond to greys, but she WILL if you say something worth reacting to. No idea about Henya

>"It's not as complex as that guy makes it to be"
I disagree. It's complex on a social level whether you're thinking about it or not. If you're socially retarded, it'll seem confusing or frustrating why no one responds to you. If you're naturally funny, clever, inquisitive, or entertaining IRL, it's a lot easier to make a talent notice your message. JUST being "funny" doesn't always necessarily work, especially in the vtubing world where everyone spams the same jokes. You need to stand out.

The longer you lurk and the more you understand the talent, things become clearer. You learn what they like, what they typically react to, what they find funny, etc. Then it needs to be done for any other talents.

There's a lot more to it than you realize. It sounds autistic, but I tested a bunch of things and personal theories, and it worked. I now have a notepad file on my comp of messages upon messages that holotalents have reacted to.

Huh? Why would you ask that, dude? Anon, a content creator does something that's not appealing to you, it's normal to have a disinterest about that. Logically if you go to person X that talks about hobby Y for years, then pivots to hobby Z completely abandoning hobby Y, you move on. Haven't you realized that being a variety creator is incredibly difficult to pull off and most creators and streamers stick to one genre, or at least one genre per channel and lose interest when they pivot to something else?
If anything ask yourself if it's wrong with you to not even consider this logical scenario. And yes for this you're in the wrong. Think anon, think
>It's been the 4th time in the last couple of days when chuubas dropped that on me, and I unironicly start to get bothered by it.
In their minds it's probably better to be open about it from the start rather. Think about it, imagine you dedicate years of your time and money to that vtuber only for her to drop the "bombshell". You'd probably become an anti that harasses her, at least that's what she probably wants to avoid.

But you know what's actually wrong with you? Making day after day after day threads about one person in the whole world. Like bro, get a job, not for money but just so you don't have to be stuck in your mind all day. We're here forever, that's true, but don't spend 30 years pondering on a person that doesn't know you. Have some awareness.
Anonymous No.104552728 [Report]

It's normal to walk away from a streamer when they're no longer entertaining or fun for you. You don't owe them your attention. You are always free to find a new entertainer. You get bored, you get uncomfortable, you feel like they look down on you? It's normal to feel bad, pick up your things and move on.

What IS WRONG is to drop a worthless comment on stream or a reply to their twitter posts where you announce that you're leaving and why you're leaving. That is just schizo attentionwhoring. It's also wrong to start calling her a whore on anonymous forums and venting anger about it in general. Because no matter how much you rage you're never going to make them change, and it only sours the fandom for everyone who wants to stay.

1-2 views are going to be indies, and indies are going to be more open about their private lives more often, because they don't have a corpo around them to push restrictions on them. It unfortunately comes with the territory, and I sympathize about your situation in that. You'd have to do some filtering on your part to look for indies that are actively pushing an idol-like persona if you want to find streamers that will avoid the bf topic altogether.

I think he speaks as if it's a massive bomb because in the public sphere of streamer's and vtuber's own discussion and yap sessions, the topic is almost always danced around like crossing a virtual minefield. It doesn't get talked about by most female vtubers and streamers because of a fear that acknowledging the fact will somehow "break the spell" and make their supporters check themselves when they go to make their next donation or superchat.

It's obvious to anyone on the internet but it's something that is genuinely feared to talk about openly because people fear rocking the gravy boat.

Not to mention with vtubing in particular, there's a lot more of a game of pretend, keyfabe. And if you read it without immersing yourself in the keyfabe mindset then you'd be weirded out. Breaking the illusion, if it were to happen en masse, not only will it make someone take a moment to donate to said streamer, but to any streamer similar to that.

It's biological. Historically men who spend their time and energy being around or pursuing taken women were less successful at having their own children. The compulsion to instantly lose interest in spending time around a woman you know is unavailable is an evolutionary advantage. A significant enough advantage that it has persisted for tens of thousands of years. You can attempt t intellectualize yourself out of it and suppress your own biology.
