The drops weren't because of botting, but rather because of ublock/adblockers blocking the youtube stats api. That has since been fixed and viewership is back to normal.
Anyway, people say they're botted because their ccv graphs show very unusual growth patterns, with no corresponding growth in other metrics. (VOD views, likes, and number of chatters remain low)

Elira got 1k+ over the last month, which isn't nothing, but most of her streams have only double digit sc revenue or worse.
Compare that to holos or top phasers who make an order of magnitude more, and 3views who easily make double that or more, and my guess is that there are still people watching, but not many. It's possible that there are people who leave the stream running just to "support" her without actually engaging, but I wouldn't count those as viewers.
