I dont care if some girls decide that they want to collab with males. But when Raden was talking about the whole idol aspect of vtubing, she literally asked and giggled at the fact that "some fans apparently want their oshi to avoid males".
That comment alone stuck with me and for me she will be nothing but a tourist grifter that got into vtubing for easy money.

Hololive existed for how many years now? They started off with male collabs with Niji males before stars even existed. Then they leaned heavily into the idol gimmick and most girls started avoiding male collabs...with a few exceptions. And then around gen 5, they slowly went back to male collabing more and more.
Even Coco that was literally worshiped by most hololive fans acknowledged that male collabs are a no-no for idols. Raden should have known whats the deal way before she applied.
Imagine supposedly watching holo for years and then all of a sudden, on stream, you realize that some fans dont like male collabs so you decide to laugh it off. That part was kinda shitty.

Hololive (Management) has been trying to distance itself from idol culture for a long time. The only reason it's still tied so heavily to the brand is because some girls don't want to give up the easy money/low effort.
This situation leads to people like Raiden wanting to be an idol ("peak femininity" in Japan) without having to follow any of the culture's demands. Honestly, as retarded and weird idol culture and unicorns are, they still manage to be better than people like Raiden, Ririka, and the Management that use them to grow and then get angry when need to follow their demands.

Has Raden ever claimed to be a vtuber fan? She certainly doesn't pretend to care about Hololive and isn't even a Hololive member. She collabs with males and people from all the normal vtuber agencies where male collabs are the norm. Her branch was literally started with the idea that they'd be the male-collabing JP branch. The only members that apparently stay away from males in dev_is are in Flow Glow and most "fans" anti them with comments about how they are letting Aruran fill their holes behind-the-scenes anyway. Raden would have been the first ReGloss graduate if it weren't for the fact she accidentally ended up being everything management actually wanted from the new branch and became its Suisei.
