same size swallowing is hard to make look good honestly, that's understandable. usually it's a lead up panel, followed by a shot of an arm or leg (or could be her tail in alana's case) sticking out of the pred's mouth. it's why a lot of the focus is on the aftermath, like the belly, internal shots, digestion, etc.
which would be my suggestion. definitely keep it same size, but depending on how many panels you have to work with forsake some of the swallowing in favor for more panels of the aftermath with more detail. but that's just me. if you do want a few swallowing panels I can help look for some for you later
