Bubblegum Crisis 2032 / 2033 (not the reboot 2040 version). The music vocal tracks are also very listenable as most of the voice actresses were able to sing.

You marked some of the older anime shows that had older "cel-based" animation styles and plots that would have a "twist" in the plot. Based on that, I recommend you try the NOIR anime series.

The audio soundtrack of Noir has the "Bee Train" type sound style to it. If you don't remember, that is the style of some of the the "dot Hack" anime. The Noir anime series is not related to Synduality Noir.

WT is an Excellent Choice. It has drama, humor, plot twists, a number of puzzles, and visual puns. Importantly, the anime version is fairly canon to the official manga.

While not anime, if you have not watched them, the animated Star Wars episodes were scripted when Lucas was still at the company. There are seven seasons of this 3D animated series and a movie.

Seconding Trigun and Ghost in the Shell movies + SAC.

Trigun will feel like a natural followup to stuff like Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star. The anime drags a bit in the middle imo but it's got a solid core cast of characters. The protagonist, Vash, is a wandering outlaw on a desert planet with a ridiculously huge bounty on his head, but acts like a harmless idiot most of the time, belying his preternatural gun-slinging skills.

Ghost in the Shell is THE cyberpunk manga, and its various anime adaptations all have their own take on the setting, characters, and story. For that reason there is no recommend watching order since they don't really tie into one another at all, each can be viewed (appropriately enough) as a stand alone series.
