I'm looking for the Even Shoshan dictionary in the MacOS version - MacOS / iOS have this dictionary built-in and it's not sold digitially in any comparable form. Help a bro out?
(I can prove that I own an older physical copy of the same dictionary if that eases your conscience.)

Oh and I'll share the processed dictionary back if you like. The Apple format is a bit weird so it takes some work to make the word database work in "normal" dictionary programs.

Both iMacs, iPhones and iPads come with built-in (or downloadable, for free) licensed dictionaries... I'm looking for one of those.
By my estimates this particular dictionary has been bundled with MacOS (or OSX, whatever) for over a decade, but for some reason no one's uploaded a copy of it yet.

So like, it's a dictionary that's licensed by Apple to be bundled with MacOS in its proprietary dictionary database format.

It's looking good, thank you! I found this tool:

... and supposedly it works with the .data files, converts them to a sqlite3 database.
I'll post results once I manage to make a first entry readable.
