can someone help find me work at minimum wage? you'll see why i'm resorting to this after reading.

no credentials or experience including hs / ged / drivers
no means of reliable transportation more than 10 miles
no phone/number
no decent clothes
no family/friends
no noteworthy skills
no money
no assets i can sell

i am a young, physically capable male (albeit malnourished for now) so thats probably the only thing i'd be able to offer right away. i'd have no trouble moving around objects in excess of 70 lbs.

i'm willing to learn how to do the job or break myself on menial tasks. i also won't report them for scummy bs like logging less hours than i actually worked or paying less than the minimum wage. hell i don't care about workplace safety either so long as they give me a respirator/filter when needed. i literally will die without it so i don't care how bad the work itself is.

the city is Richmond, IN. anything within 15 miles of its center would be good enough. i'm not picky i just need SOMETHING.

oh also remote work would be fine, but i definitely won't have the required qualifications for most things. i'm self-taught in most things i do online like programming and such so i definitely wont be able to get hired by corpos without a degree. the lack of phone service also means that i can't work for a call center/customer service type thing. finding something that has no prerequisites is impossible/almost impossible but i don't have the means of getting them on my own.

You got a laptop(?) with neighborhood internet and are homeless, if I understand correctly. Is there no way at all for you to get a phone number? because Deliveroo and similar apps only require a number and a bike which you can steal and later return once you get your own. You can run the apps on your laptop using Blue Stacks as temporary solution if your laptop can handle it, later you can buy an second-hand android phone to use instead.

Worse come to worst, you can offer to wash car windows and sell shoplifted socks, tissues and lighters on the street at red lights, just don't get caught, like don't be sus when you enter stores, try to stay as clean as possible, shaved beard and combed hair, if you cannot clean your clothes properly try to look like a painter or construction worker rather than a homeless man. Never leave without buying, you can buy even just a bread bun. Make sure there's no security and nobody watching the camera monitors before you try. The first time you enter don't shoplift, they are taught to keep an eye on low wage looking customers but they will lower their guard later. Change store every time, like rotate every day if there's enough stores in your area, don't take too much and don't take always the same products, they will eventually notice and check camera recordings. Most security cameras services keep record for 24 hours but some go up to 48h so keep that in mind for your rotation. Never ever buy or steal any kind of alcohol, it's a red flag, a huge one.

I say this as a former security guard. Most of the people who shoplift are alcoholics, toxics, illegal migrants or gypsies or a combo of this. If you ever get to chitchat with customers or the cashiers, make yourself know as a person who doesn't drink and that lives in the area in your own house.

You say you have no noteworthy skills but your writing is clear and you say you have taught yourself programming before. That alone gives me faith you can succeed. I can't say I have been in your shoes before but I hope some of this can be helpful.

Look into online jobs like Mechanical Turk, search engine evaluation, and paid surveys/studies. I'm not exactly sure what's current, but you can research this on reddit or wherever. You can use AI to help you do online jobs through automation or assistance. I'm not some kind of AI evangelist but it can help, especially if you have no one else to turn to. Do whatever you need to do, as long as the checks clear. Moving onto gig delivery work is an option you should pursue as soon as you can. Take advantage of any charity offered in your area regarding food, clothing, and shelter. Libraries are a good place to do work on your laptop. Take account of the essential things you need and how much they cost and compare this to the rates from the aforementioned services. You probably have an idea of how this math works out but writing it down will help. With just a little bit of money you can fix the clothing problem, phone & prepaid SIM with thriftiness. I also see you are close to Ohio, which has a higher minimum wage. You should check the job opportunities there in case you are able to travel later.

Best wishes OP.

forgot to mention if you need to do something unethical, try fake sob stories on gofundme. people donate to anything on there without any verification that it's real
