Is there a way to increase the thumbnail size when uploading a file in linux? Pic related.

Linux desktop has multiple file pickers, KDE's and GNOME's native file pickers both have large preview thumbnails, you can look up how to activate the proper file picker if you're using either of those but I recommend ignoring the file picker entirely and dragging and dropping from the file manager to the application instead.
