What's a good video game for a NEET to spend most of their waking hours playing?
I'm looking for something that requires just enough attention for it to alleviate my anxiety somewhat by getting me to focus on something else; it's also important that the game can be played in windowed mode, with sound off, while half paying attention to Youtube videos/TV shows/whatever.
I want to feel like I'm making progress in some way. I used to be very into getting all achievements in WoW, but I don't want to do that anymore for reasons I don't want to get into. Said achievement hunting was, however, absolutely perfect for me in every way, the only problem with something similar now would be that it'd take me years to get to a similar world ranking in a different MMO.
Most games nowadays are focused on an audience that want to jump in and out for a quick session, I'm looking for something that rewards huge time investments.
Something like OSRS isn't suitable due to requiring too much constant attention to do stuff like tick manipulation, though that's also to a large degree due to all of the inputs being mouse-only; something like RS3 isn't suitable due to it requiring too little input.
Picture unrelated.
