I used to drink tea without sugar but now I just drink hot water. Has the same effect.

why? Too much sugar is bad for you and normal tea tastes bitter. Hot water is not that bad.

Ginger, green, lemongrass. Sometimes black tea with whole milk and a little pumpkin spice for a quick and simple chai.

That's because you're brewing them too long. When done properly with their respective time and temperature, tea can be decent without sugar. I know for some it's more effort than it's worth.

very true. most cafes serve really bad tea because they let it brew way to long.

huh didn't know that. Plain hot water is still less effort and I'm a lazy shit.
