With the new Chrome Canary update, the registry policy I set no longer works. Is there another workaround to get 4chanX and other older extensions to still work with chrome?

The extensions themselves work fine in Edge.

or is there another way to get 4chanX to work or a similar extension where I can import all my settings/filters etc?

Install a userscript extension like Violentmonkey, then use the 4chanX script:

Violentmonkey doesn't have Manifest V3 support, so you'll have to use another userscript manager like Tampermonkey instead.

That worked for 4chanx. had to reimport my settings.
But what about other V2 extensions?
