I have a new computer with Windows 11. When I plugged in the two 20 TB dynamic disks (10 TB x2) and told Disk Management to recognize them it worked fine. I could reach my files.
But once I rebooted, Windows decided to check the disks on startup and when I opened explorer the drive was visible but not available. Pic related. Only one has an error.
Found a fix that worked (right clicking and reactivating the disks), but it didn't work right away. When it didn't work I tried disabling disk check on the drives and rebooted. Didn't work so I redid the reactivation of the disks and rebooted. That's when it worked.
But it's not a permanent fix. When I reboot, I get the same issue. The same fix works, but only when I reboot twice.
What am I doing wrong or not doing?
Can't find any info about this on the internet.
