I can remember watching one of those "These pictures will change the way you look at the world/Comics that'll make you rethink life/Images that say a lot about our society" vids on YouTube roughly half a decade ago. It was your typical boomer cartoon slideshow, mostly nothing special, but one particular comic has stuck with me:
A huge football (soccer if you're from Burgerland) player laying on his back on a football field, reaching both goalposts head-to-toes. His jersey is plastered with all kinds of brand logos like Coke and whatnot, your typical sports sponsors. The message was essentially that televised sports is not about the sport itself, but rather about making money.
I'd be grateful if anyone here had it.
