I moved to a remote area in the countryside as i am going to help my family with their business in the farm, there's an old PC with Windows 7 on it, I am looking to switch to some light weight Linux distro no USBs or DVDs here at all, am i out of options or there is a way to install linux without an external object?

I think it would be easiest to just do what it takes to get a spare USB drive.

If you have a spare extra hard drive you can probably use that along with the stuff mentioned in >>1532882

It will be more difficult than just using a USB drive, though.
