anyone has any good mpv subtitles style (differentt font, stroke, shadow etc). I want something elegant for movies, pic rel is my current one, it's basically crunchyroll's subs yellow

that's how anime subtitltes should look, young'un. ALL subtitles. they did it right.

does it use ASS subtitle rendering, like ffmpeg? if so:

I made that subtitle style in mpv.conf (i didn't mess with ffmpeg at all) here it is for anyone who wants to try it out

I made pic rel yesterday, it fits both anime and movies (trebuchet looked weird in movies) but it has some readability issues on light backgrounds so if you have any advice aside from strokes
