I have been searching for this image for years. No joke. I found it on some osu cheating forum back in 2022, where I saved it, set it as my pfp, and didn't question it for a few months. Now, I can't find the source of it or where the hell it came from. I'm at a loss. Tineye had 0 results, yandex was unhelpful at best, and google gave me one result but it's literally just my osu pfp.

You can try to contact this person and ask how this image was acquired(It has a higher source quality).

Judging by the compression artifacts, the original size of the image is either 254x254 or 256x256.
My guess that It is a sketch or contour drawing by someone who made it for themselfes, OR it can be an image extracted from some speedpainting and any art-related video.

The only clue you need to grab onto is a character, if you can identify it, you can probably find it in speedpainting videos on youtube. You can also ask people about this character or image on r/AnimeSketch, on discord channels (https://disboard.org/servers/tag/anime-art?nsfw=1), as well as on telegram (https://t.me/s/drawinganime2022 https://t.me/s/prtegas https://t.me/s/sketch_book).

tbqh I think it was possible to find it in 2021-2023, but now with the mass enshittification of every image searching service, you can't really find anything useful except on closed api platforms and some OSINT tools.
