what are some manga like early dragon ball that is whimsical, magical, playful, funny and full of adventure, soul and wonder and has incredible and timeless art. naruto is too gritty and serious and one piece is too preachy and pretentious about its shallow messages and characters. YAIBA has been the closest i have seen that best replicates that feeling.

Rave Master by Hiro Mashima
The art kinda sucks at the beginning, it's his first work. But the whole thing is excellent

You can check Angel Densetsu, though the art is weak if you compare it to something like Dragon Ball (don't, Toriyama was a master in his craft) but it's pretty damn funny and one of my favorite manga.
Gon (no text, pure art) ticks some of the boxes as well, but it doesn't really have a story, just the adventures of a tiny dinosaur.
Honestly, it's kind of hard to find something that really hits all those boxes, DB was one of a kind, I didn't read Dr. Slump, but maybe you will find what you're looking for in it since it came before DB? though I know it leans more on the comedy side rather than story.
