Issue is similar to picrel (not mine image), it goes away when putting the laptop to either sleep or shutdown for about an hour or more but the issue always came back ~10 minutes at 100% brightness or ~1 hour at 0-50% brightness.

I have tried:
-power cycle the laptop.
-update bios, graphic's driver.
-give it a couple of nice whack with my hand.

Additional Info:
-Laptop is 5 years old and is out of warranty.
-Left corner of screen flicker when on 0-50% brightness.
-Recently upgrade the RAM from 8 to 16 but I don't think it's related.

Looking for an 'at home' solution since I think it's not that big of a spot and I still have some urgent work left to do.

Hit it with a hammer. There's a not 0% chance it could help

Was that RAM downloaded, by any chance?

The LCD laptop screen colors itself, and then lamps behind the screen sends white light through the screen.
One of the screen lamps is probably failing due to some defect.
It needs to be repaired (probably entire screen replaced, but I'm not savvy like the two assholes above).

Thankfully not, I got ripped off instead thought; the RAM was 4 years old and I paid FULL price for it.
