I doubt that anybody here remembers him, this is Thorin, at the start of January this guy dissappeared
more than a month later I heard meows from my back door and there he was

he was locked somewhere, fortunately he had access to water and at least a little of foot, although he came back almost only skin and bones (here he looks big that is really 60% hair) and weighing what a small kitten should weight not a full grown norwegian

I'm posting this because, at the time, I made a post here asking for prayers and you guys delivered and convinced me not to loose hope

thank you very much, never lose hope

But the cat came back the very next, we thought he was a goner

he is still very light, but he has all the food he needs if he doesn't want to eat I'm not going to force him
after the "experience" he became much more docile and in general spends more time with me/the family and he is tolerant of both the dog and the other cat (he would regularly go around slapping both),

it's clear that now he appreciates life much more than before

Put a gps collar on him or air tag collar. My brother put one on our cat and it’s relieving knowing where she is all the time.

mine stayed out more than one month, like a month and 10 days.
Try asking people to look into garden sheds/garages and so on, give them monetary prize if helps

also call vets/animal hospitals near you someone could have taken him there

I don't even believe in religion or God. But prayed for you & your cat that time. With the caveat that I doubt this will work. And that I was certain, if something were listening it would be far beyond any known human religion or phenomena.

But as I love cats so much & have traumas related to experiences with my own pets, I wanted you & your boy to be reunited.

I can never discount the likely & more logical conclusion of this being coincidence here.
