Looking to see if anyone's experienced something like this.
The setting was a rural village in the mountains, I was helping the villagers dig for something when we uncovered a body. The very next scene was in a cemetery on the side of a hill, we were getting ready to bury the body properly but there was another casket - a village boy, who was known to have pitch black eyes died recently and was being buried at the same time. (This was a known fact to all the locals, nothing seemed weird so far)
The two bodies were in open caskets, ready to be covered by dirt. After the proceedings, I look around to see everyone's eyes turn pitch black just like the boy's. I remember I tried to scream but it came out as more of a wail. Then I announced to the group - "the old ones/gods are back, welcome them/rejoice". I get a really bad/dark feeling like I triggered some big event, dream ends I wake up with my heart racing, cold and freaked out.
The old ones thing is cringe in retrospect but I can't shake the whole black eyes of everyone staring back at me - It feels like a reality shift or something.
