These things descend from the sky around midnight and abduct people who feel lost in life.
They come from the astral world, connected to long, stringy tethers of light that reach endlessly into the clouds.
They are made of static and seem benign and simply wander suburban and rural areas.
One sign of their presence is when your hearing briefly rings at a high frequency. That's them bridging into our world.
