Never posted before, don't know how this works, I'll give it a go.

Was a kid, maybe seven. My dad took me and a friend on a trip to a town half an hour away to just have a fun day.
On the drive back, my dad and friend were chatting about something, and I look outside seeing it's completely overcast. As a little kid discovered that this weather meant I could stare directly into the sun and have no repercussions, and might even see the shiny orb in the sky.
Do this, and sure enough see the sun. Then, see what looks exactly like the moon (same shape, size, patterns) going around the sun clockwise. Not passing in front of it like an eclipse, just rotating around it.
For some reason, little kid me sees this and just starts sitting dumbfounded. Never mention it to friend or dad because whatever reason. Get distracted as child does and promptly forgets it happened. Remember this at random every now and again and decided to share.

There’s all kinds of weird stuff in the skies. I CANNOT believe more astronomers and the like aren’t saying anything.
What’s up with moon wave?
All those ufo’s there
All the other lights on and off in the sky
So many other things.

>I CANNOT believe more astronomers and the like aren’t saying anything.
It's simple. People you see on TV are paid to spew bullshit, and any freelance astronomer with the knowledge and tools to prove his assertions will just be labeled a conspiracy theorist by the former party.

What you haven’t heard of Neil degrasse Tyson? He’s literally a famous astrophysicist and is on television all of the time , he has a great television show called cosmos wherein each episode he teaches about a particular subject. You should go check him out
And what you think you saw as a child was your over active imagination I mean you were staring directly into the sun for crying out loud you should consider yourself lucky that you’re not blind.

Also have weather phenomenon. Saw a black lighting bolt in the sky when I was a child. Can't explain it.

thats just the atmosphere. airplanes cause those lines by their engine wake and they can persist for some time. there are no waves on the moon.
