It does for everybody. Religious people for example believe in "divine dynamics" out of their reach, they project possibilities on them and it comforts them. Gods, particles, unseen realms..etc.
Everybody qualifies as religious if we count science as a religious framework, so this applies to everyone.

It's all infinitely unknown and I don't stress out becauss I don't know everything. In complacent with the knowledge I have and wish I was more ignorant to be quite honest.
