Are they real? If so, are they at least partially fixed definite locations that can be traveled to or must they be discovered through self-examination and magics

Theres a lot of things called vortexes in the national parks in the western United States. If you go to them at the right hours (night time, winter) when theres not tourists weird stuff happens like sudden silence and observed paranormal phenomenon. Issue is when they're infested with hippies during peak season theres too many people for liminal experiences to happen. Theres a bunch in Mt. Shasta and Sedona, but theres more in different national parks.
