What angers me the most about Christianity,Catholicism and the similar religions is that they make their subjects spiritually weak on purpose.
They convince the believer that satan the devil etc will tempt them or attack them cause they are chosen by "God" they are planting that seed on their mind making them susceptible to such experiences. They work hand in hand with the demons they say they despise cause a demon can't posses or influence a man without his permission but the religion grooms them to be receptacles for them. Weird that Catholics don't talk about Angels in most of the mass or teachings they make because they know that a light being will never condition his goodwill yet they condition your "salvation" to petty stuff and want you to confess your sins to another man who is like you a sinner if you really think about it but that it's another lie if you really believe in Christ then you have no reason to believe in Sin

All you really need are the words of Jesus Christ. You can skip all the institutions and cultural trappings if they don't help support your faith.

Your problem is the churches and denominations, not the Bible.
If you go solo scriptura all by yourself you'll find a book that encourages you to think of yourself as God's son, a god, who by faith is omnipotent.

What angers me the most about gnostics and similar religions is that they are all, to the very last one, gay LARPers, and destined to spend eternity in a solipsistic universe where they exist alone as pure potentiality and zero actuality forever and ever.
