>>40528693 (OP)In the olden days, conspiracy theorizing was actually frequently pretty left-coded. Not all the time, you still had big figures a like Bill Cooper and Alex Jones who painted themselves as sort of libertarian constitutionalist patriots. But stuff like the CIA being practically far-right crypto-fascists and corporatists, fomenting coups and installing leaders more amenable to Western corporate interests (from the Iranian coup of Mossadegh backed by CIA & MI6 to support BP, British Petroleum, interests, to all the dictatorships in Latin America and infamous creation of ‘banana republics’), harmful side effects of things like vaccines and fluoride also as a plan of this pseudo-fascist elite not caring about their citizens & capture of govt regulatory agencies by corporate interests, Republican Party shadiness and/or false flags from the Iran-Contra affair to 9/11, also criticism of Zionism from a leftist perspective, etc.
Basically if you were interested in this stuff, you could pick up a lot of this from the conspiracy grapevine and the Internet. I think Trevor was true and original “Woke” … before it became the abomination it became today, plus the whole heavy psyops and shilling to associate all conspiracy theorists with the far-right or so-called alt-right, then also get people afraid of or despising this “alt-right.” And also conversely extreme pushing of identity politics, White Male Hatred, extreme obsession with niche social issues as opposed to far larger problems, blatant hypocrisy on various social issues, etc.
I’d simply call Trevor a true, honestly good, sharp person who kept his eyes open, had suspicion of governments and intelligence agencies, and probably liked studying conspiracy theories online, from articles to documentaries.
