Not always, and certainly not forever. There is a queer contradiction which comes up when trying to reconcile purchase and society. Can I buy one? Can you still consider it a society if I do? Can we really call anything which feeds on trade a "society"? You have to never stop trying. You don't need indomitable will, supernatural abilities, or any fancy plot device. You need to fight in any/all ways it is possible for you to do so, and when something new becomes an option, pursue it just as hard. The fight for current state is not the first for next state, and any limit on your perception, your confidence, your total reach, could grow into your regret of tomorrow. Hit a wall from too much regret? Not a problem! Too bad, you have to keep getting up and fighting for what you believe in each time the world doesn't kill you. Let this intent die and it gets worse.

One day when I was 11 I felt like my body was taken over by another being. But omly partially, I cluld move my hands and it could move my hands. First I lit it draw what I thought was arandom scribbles on a peice of paper, then I decided to communicate by writing something on paper, and then letting it take control write a reply. First I asked it who it was and it said "I am Silas" assuming in meant the Silas from Transformers: Prime I said "but Silas died" and it said something like "I am alive" or "but i survived". And then it told me to get a Battleship board and put random peoces on it and each red would be abad day and each white a good day. And then once I was done with the battleship thing it left. I only assumed it was transformers prime Silas, it never actually confermed or denyed that so I now think it was some kind of entity calling itself Silas and not the silas I thought it was.
Can someone explain who or what was Silas?

2. It was a spirit motivated to use a name. Anything you were willing to do was just a function of your belief
3. It was another entity of the same name and honestly, I can pretty easily believe an /x/phile browsing today has a similar experience which can help explain your entity
