I found a 6 year old podcast episode that mentions "Strange 80s comedian Roy Jay" and an album he made

There are no comments on the spotify. All the comments on the soundcloud episode dont mention Roy Jay at all except from one anon yesterday. The timestamp is around 57-58 minutes in where they talk about roy jay and they say that he was popular for a very short amount of time and remember that his schick was being weird and saying spook and slither. They mention the FB page and play the excerpt from the Bob Monkhouse show on the podcast episode

and play the schweppes advert aswell
One of the hosts actually owned his album and said it was signed by him to a fan and he wrote "spooks" on it. He then said that the album has a pic of him doing one of his poses
It seems like roy jay did exist
