Abrahamic religions are difficult to get into because circumcision and genital cutting of all forms is disgusting. Even if the "cutting around" is a mtaphor for removing the psychophysical "garment" or some other process which Jews literalized and applied to their dicks, it's still tiresome. It's always the cutting. Cutting and cutting and cutting. Cutting this off. Cutting that off. Cutting off what is below to focus on what is above. All the genital mutilation and symbolic castration sacrifice rituals.

Tiresome. It's inseparable from any more formal engagement with the Christian etc notions. Even the circumcision of the heart attempt to salvage it. You will still see gentiles (mostly circumcised ones) being worked up to chant and condemn the "uncircumcised phillistines!"
