It makes sense to me. Semi-related, I was reading a story of a peasant kid in Burma who kept saying KAMIKAZE and HAI and shit like that, whole village knew about that one retard kid etc., the theory being that some jap pilot crashed in the burmese jungles while japan raped and pillaged colonized during WW2 and the jap pilot soul took residence in the local village.
