What struck me as odd back in 2016 was that Kek/Kauket is a dualistic God. You cannot have one without the other.
If anyone remembers, Kek is an Ancient Egyptian God of Chaos. He is represented as a man with a frog head, whereas his female counterpart Kauket (also known as Kuk) is represented as a woman with a snake head. (most specifically, a cobra)
Now here's where things get fucked up - enter asteroid Apophis.
99942 Apophis is a near-Earth asteroid and a potentially hazardous object 450 metres (1480 ft) by 170 metres (560 ft) in size, and it will make it's arrival on Friday April 13, 2029.
In ancient Egyptian mythology, Apophis (also known as Apep) was a malevolent serpent deity representing chaos and darkness, and the arch-enemy of the sun god Ra. He was a destructive force that the Egyptians believed constantly tried to overthrow the established cosmic order by attacking Ra during his nightly journey through the underworld
I believe that there may be a correlation between Kauket and Apophis / Apep. Both represent chaos and darkness, both represent snakes/serpents, eerily similar as well. During Ra's nightly ritual to bring in the dawn (like Kek), Apep attacks Ra to try stop his ascent in the underworld. Every time Ra was injured or hindered by Apep, this would cause earthquakes, storms, eclipses etc. The goal of Apep has always been to blot out the sun, and prevent Ra from bringing in the dawn. In a way, Apep is a "bringer-in of the night" just as much as Kauket / Kuk is.
