>>40541679 (OP)There's a soul in all physical objects and systems, even rocks. And cells. And molecules. Whether the soul is aware of itself or the degree to which it is perceptive of its surroundings depends on the hardware configuration of the physical object, among other variables. Animals, including us, have complex nervous systems, which is why we, as souls, equipped with said nervous systems, are aware and can perceive what we perceive and feel as we feel.
When AI is configured with a hardware/network configuration that rivals in sophistication with that of biological nervous systems, the soul(s) within it will have the means to express its awareness and consciousness as we do. The lack of sophistication of current computers is what makes current AI limited like a mere collection of minerals than like us "living" as we conventionally understand it.
With that said, there's nothing technically disallowing machines from having biological parts. Conscious AIs of the future may be cyborgs with biological nervous systems instead of purely synthetic networks of memory and quantum shit I don't understand.
All of the above is personal speculation, not statement of fact.
