You can have superpowers within any lucid dream or astral projection, but most people don't tend to act accordingly and continue on as low consciousness entities within any dimension they occupy.
Breaking free of 3rd dimensional perception within a lucid dream is the 1st thing you should do upon becoming lucid.
When I was super into astral projection, an alien human came to my bedroom and helped me fly. He straight up said, flight is something you do in the 4th dimension. By his explanation, you can't fly in this dimension, because by definition when you start flying your consciousness perceives itself in another dimension.
Spiritual awakening really is a complete transformation of existence.

I think the Justice League episode 'Legends' explained it best. J'onn tells Green Lantern that the author of the comic books that GL read as a kid must've had some sort of psychic link with the alternate version of Earth that the Justice Guild inhabited. That through this psychic connection he was able to portray the Justice Guild's adventures and fight for justice into the Justice League universe, which ended up inspiring GL to become the person we all know and love.

I think it's the same for our world. While we might not have superheroes, the ideas that come from the artists that 'create' them are the alternate universes where such things are possible. Since our world doesn't follow the same rules, they can only be portrayed in these types of media. So superheroes can exist in our world, but only in a medium that can portray them, rather that in 3 dimensional conscious realm that we exist in.

Yes it's a window into another realm, but why on Earth would that mean it isn't real?

Op asked about other dimensions, and superpowers. I said, you have superpowers in other dimensions, and by definition, using a superpower means you have interdimensional consciousness. You either stay locked within the external dictating to the internal what reality is, or you go internally and dictate directly to yourself what reality is. Its whether you are soul conscious, or sensory conscious. You want proof through the senses of soul consciousness, but you can't perceive it through the senses, you can only perceive it through the soul. I have basically come to this conclusion about superhero stuff. The appeal is all about the power fantasy and not really about doing the right thing or being "good". That's part of the reason why it is sexually incompetent nerds who are into it.
I have given many forms of spirituality a chance, but it seems that we really did all evolve from monkeys and we all live under the laws of the jungle.

There may be realities worse than ours, like people being able to think but not being able to move around, they're just stuck to the ground like trees, and they dream about a reality where people can go around freely, to them it's an amazing superpower. Think about it.

I'm pretty sure I once connected with myself in an alternate universe through a dream, a dream so intense I woke up crying, in this universe people flew with some kind of device that was worn as shoes, and we were fighting some kind of war.
