What are some paranormal things about malware? Do you have any spooky virus stories? I've always had an irrational fear of getting a computer virus and general computer fuckery but I am glad they're relatively rare now.

The last paranormal "virus" was the when the exploitable macros appeared out of apparently no where one day and then some day later were noticed for what they are.

I don't know if it had an official name, but I got the "I'm Sorry" virus when I was a kid. Modified every jpeg on my computer with white text saying "I'm sorry" in the bottom right corner.

Not paranormal but spooky urban legends:
- There is a virus created by a guy in the 1980s who was so good his virus still was never detected and is still infecting pcs to this day.
- There is a good amount of virus that antivirus software companies know about but keep their software from detecting, for these are virus from glowies. A russian company once let its software detect one of these anyway, things went bad for this company and its director.
