one of the videos I saw on youtube from about 3 years ago used clear AI upscale but I'm not sure it's AI. The AI videos you see people make look between 1080p and 4k, clearly trained on high quality videos. the videos that Roy Jay is in, it's clear if it's made by AI, the AI is specifically made to make older looking videos from the 80s and 90s. and there isn't really an AI like that that's publicly available. I do not know what would be the purpose of designing such an AI instead of investing money into AI that can make newer looking videos since if I for example show war footage that looks like it's from the 80s or 90s I can do much less damage than a video that looks like it was taken on a modern phone.

the Roy Jay videos also look more realistic than the AI videos you see online. the only ones that look fake are the ones that used clear AI upscaling which isn't proof of anything
