I have a bunch of mental health issues, and am severely overweight.
I want to go on a 3 month fast to lose about 90 pounds of fat/muscle to reset my relationship with food and start over.
What else should I deprive myself of to make it more of a journey? Masturbation?

Also music and speaking, and keep yourself in a noise free environment with dim lightning, no LEDs. Read and write often, keeps yourself sane. You can deprive yourself of those too to clean yourself deep but you probably can't handle it

I would tell you to be careful with any drastic measures and any immediate methods, Enlightenment, overcoming and victory are gradual paths, do not let yourself be discouraged by stumblimgs. Keep your discipline and focus, and use your stumblings as motivation to not stumble again.Try meditating, praying or other rituals that work on your inner self. Try to wake up before sunrise, eat little and eat well when you are not fasting, avoid meat and semen waste, and mostly read traditional books, be it on Hinduism, Buddhism, or even Christianity (if it's not the lunar and submissive path). I wish you good luck and may your victory be glorious, brother.
Hail Victory!

Lock yourself in a room with nothing but a water cooler jug of water, a treadmill, a bucket and a Zune that only has the Volcanic Bird Enemy album by Lil Ugly Mane

Try keto. I lost 35kg since last august. It's a pretty easy diet. You just have to eat no more than 20 grams of carbs per day, that's the important part, so you're depriving yourself of carbs I guess. Mainly I just replaced regular bread with low carb tortillas. Protein bars helped me too because I like chocolate and stuff so they're a decent substitute if you can find ones you like, they taste better these days than they used to. Also if you do keto and start getting restless legs at night you'll want extra sodium and magnesium, I have to take magnesium supplements but they're cheap. I've got all kinds of mental problems too and am on disability for it.

... also, I lost all that weight with basically no exercise, just the diet. I was really unwell when I started and was in bed a lot anyway but have a lot more energy now.
